Hi, my name is Ursula Kay, I live in Sheffield UK and besides playing in a band (Party Horse) and working in fashion i am an enthousiastic kritter lover!

Since i was a kid i’ve had lot’s of guinea pigs, gerbils and hamsters! Yes, being an only child does have advantages!

Kritters are also the cutest things evah and they are amazingly photogenic! So let’s publish these little guys!!

Let’s spread the Sheffield Kritter Love and send me your favourite kritter pictures & stories! Anything goes, from home made funky cages to funny kritters with atitude!

Kritter snack tips, funniest kritter toys, coolest kritter shops and kritter jokes, you name it i’ll post it! Let’s make this Sheffield’s favourite blog! Send all your mail to: ilovekritters@gmail.com

Let’s start by introducing my 2 kritters:

This is Billy-Bob Kay, a long hair syrian hamster that unfortunately died a sudden death on Halloween 2009. Worst day of my life!

He was a funny man, loved cheese, his running bal, his cyber loo and his tunnels. After showing his tarzan skills in his cage he became known in the music industry as Party Horse’s backing dancer.

And then there is Loca Kay, meaning ‘crazy’ in spanish, the winter white russian dwarf hamster with the spunk of a latina. Her favourite snack is ham, loves crawling in your hair and hates belly rubs.

Loca’s home. A stylish cage for a stylish girl and everybody knows that every girl needs a mirror, Loca needs 2! At the moment i’m waiting for her garden furnature for the bottom level that will make her home complete.
